Love’s in the Air

Until this point Lisa refused to admit that she had any doubts in her marriage. But now that a kid was on the way she wasn’t sure that Martin would be able to support her emotionally.

Lisa had made her choice though. She wasn’t going back with Jordan so she would just have to live with her decisions.

Jordan woke up in the middle of the night. It had been a couple days since his talk with Lisa and things just weren’t the same. He was depressed and felt so alone.

I need support. I can’t go on living by myself. I don’t need a wife, I just need someone to make me feel better. Jordan knew what he had to do so he flicked open his cellphone and called a number he hadn’t called in a while.

He had been in this situation a couple nights ago. He had ended up with a broken heart. But this guest he was expecting and he knew exactly what he wanted from her.

"It’s been a while Jordan.." Those were the only words spoken the whole night. Their actions spoke for themselves as the two of them got to know each other again.

"Lisa… you awake?" Martin walked in on her wife asleep in her plate of spagetti when he came home from work late. He couldn’t believe he had gotten her pregnant. He was being a little rash when he told her he wanted to have babies. Well Martin was stuck in the relationship now, not that he minded. Suddenly the phone rang

Lisa’s head jerked up and she looked at Martin with sause all over her face. He laughed at her as she quickly whiped the sause off her face and rushed over to the phone.

It was a woman’s voice on the phone and she was very anxious to speak with Martin. "Martin it’s for you."

"Hello….Oh wow I didn’t think I’d hear from you….Oh yes that was just my uh, roomate….Yes I have a new house now….Uh huh….. well that sounds great….. I’ll see what I can do and I’ll call you back."

Lisa pretended to mind her own business as she washed the dishes. "Lisa I think I’m going to have to er, go back to work and finish some things up. I’ll be back past midnight probably so don’t wait up for me." Lisa just nodded and kissed him on the cheek.

  1. Uh oh, I smell trouble brewing. And that Martin is an a—–er….a real jerk. I feel so bad for Julie and Lisa, and Jordan. Things are getting complicated!
