Amanda was befuddled, who made these crossword puzzles anyways. Why did they have to be so hard? It wasn’t easy on her, being a stay at home mom, you know. Especially with only one kid.

Amanda believed the men should work while the woman take care of the kids. Thats how it was back in the day and that’s how it should stay. Of course Amanda only wanted one kid. They just consumed too much energy, time, and money.

Amanda and Calvin’s baby, Daisy, was adorable of course.

And that sight would scare any baby. That’s Calvin Cole, a casanova in training. The only woman he’s been able to woo is his wife but he is planning on changing that.

Here’s the other family in Sunny Valley. Meet Sara and Allen Brooks. As soon as they arrived at their new house they decided to start making babies. And the short lullaby after the woohoo is a sure sign of sucess. With another babay on the way, Allen had to work of course.

So Allen got a job as an Emergency Medical Technician. It’s just wonderful when your Fortune sim wants to be Chief of Staff (which requires 10 Cleaning) and you just gave that sim 1 point of Neatness in CAS. But besides that the Brooks’ lives were moving along smoothly.

Slow Progress

Well I know I haven’t had any updates lately but I’ve been busy with school and I’ve been looking up Pets and Open for Business if I might want to get them. So a Into the Valley and a Waterside Stories update will be coming within a week I promise. I still haven’t gotten my neighborhood back but it’s a work in progress. Keep checking for updates!

Well I was about to play sims 2 the other day and my neighborhood of Waterside is gone (which has my Cole Legacy AND all my Waterside Soaps sims). So I restarted and tried again but it still wasn’t there. This is pretty annoying but I guess I’ll just wait for it to show up because I didn’t delete it AND the Neighborhood file is still in the sims folder. For now I’ll just play around with some of my other sims neighberhoods and see if I can get something interesting out of them.. Hopefully it will show up!!

If it doesn’t show up for a while though I have enough pictures for one more episode of Waterside Soaps which I can have done in a few days.

Update 12-02-06:

Still hasn’t come back but I have already made a new neighborhood called Sunny Valley but I’ll probably change that. I’m going to start a new series called ‘Into the Valley’ but I’m not sure if its gonna be a soap opera or just sims gameplay, or both. I have some pictures…

There’s the two cheap houses that I built for my 2 families, As you can see they are in the valley.

This is Sara and her son David. She is a family sim who wants to graduate 3 children (or was it grandchildren?) through college. She has a funny personality and has colorful clothes.

There’s her husband Allen who is a fortune sim who wants to be Cheif of Staff.

There’s Amanda and Daisy Cole (sound farmiliar?). I made Amanda look a little different and Daisy is much prettier hehe. Amanda is a popularity sim and wants 20 best friends.

Finally there’s Calvin Cole, Amanda’s hubby. He is a Romance sim and he wants to be a Celebirty Chef, I’m not sure why though..

Married with kids

After the terrible date Amanda had with Calvin the other day she kept on seeing him and soon they were in love.

Her coffee job got her enough money to buy a kitchen and get a real job. Amanda decided to take the Slacker career because she didn’t really want to work that much.

The slacker career also meant short hours so Amanda got another job being a DJ.

She seemed to attract all the guys. Meanwhile she finally got to see how much money Calvin had and she liked what she saw.

So now that Amanda knew that Calvin would be a wise hubby she sealed the deal at a romantic night desert.

Amanda was going to be getting another member of the family when she found out she was pregnant.

Finally 1 sim week was over and in the early morning I had Amanda invite Calvin over to get married. He was now Calvin Cole and he was a Leo just like Amanda. With his money I built a nice little house with yellow sliding.

He brought in about 16,000 simoleons and a nice kareoke machine that Amanda loved.

Meet Amanda Cole! She is a Pleasure sim with a lifetime want to go on 50 Dream dates. She is doing an Xtreme Start to her legacy so She only has 1,500 simoleons to spend and she has to live alone for the first week. That’s gonna be a pain but I could use 2 extra points for my first legacy challenge. I’m doing the old one by the way. Hmmm I shouldn’t have made her so frowny but thats ok

Well I bought her a toilet, some walls, a bed, and a wall phone. She hated her house naturally so she decided to go downtown.

Amanda went straight to work because she was totally broke. Looking around there were no guys she would have chemistry with. Amanda like guys who were buff and had blond hair.

Actually the coffee job payed pretty well and Amanda earned a couple hundred simoleons after hours a work. Without finding any cute guys to ask out, she decided to eat alone. Awww…

And Goopy looks even more attractive in his work outfit!

Love’s in the Air

Julie couldn’t be happier, she was quickly advancing in her cooking career, she lived in a gorgeous apartment, and her boyfriend and she seemed to be completly in love.

They went on dates almost every night except when Ashley had to work late. There were a lot of complicated couples in Waterside and Julie was glad she wasn’t in one of them.

"Come on Martin, let’s do something. We’re newlyweds, working all day and night can’t be good for us."

"Can’t you see I’m wearing my thinking hat Lisa? That usually means that you should go clean or something because I’m busy. Do you have any idea how much the taxes cost for this house?"

Lisa left the room, Martin was being such a jerk lately. It seemed like the higher he got in his career, the more grumpy he became. Lisa just wanted to be a good nurse and to help docters help their patients even more.

But Lisa’s career was going to be put on hold too because the signs of her baby were coming clearer everyday. The vomiting in the bathroom might have been from some bad food but the sudden burst in her belly mean one thing. A baby was coming.

I’m going to do the legacy challenge, I just want sims to play with for a long time and not worry about the storyline. This way I’m sure my sims will entertain me for long hours! The picture is my heiress (and I’ve finally downloaded some custom content!) but I haven’t decided her personality or name or anything. Hehe she’s just sitting in the Sim Bin waiting to be created.

Also if anyone can help me to figure out how to download the .rar files for sims clothing (like on simsbysarhra.com) I would appreciate it because I cannot figure out how and her clothes are so cute!

New Beginnings : Part 2

"Well that honeymoon seemed a lot shorter than a week." Lisa said as she ate her salad. Martin sort of grunted and barly looked up from his salad. "The nights don’t get much prettier than this, why don’t we go for a swim tonight? When I was a teenager me an Jordan would always go skinny dipping while my parents slept!" Lisa had a playful grin on her face.

"You’re joking right? You know that I have a report to write about the side effects of coming in contact with the saliva of a Laganaphyllis Simnovorii. Besides why would I ever want to remind you of your childhood memories with Jordan?" Lisa’s smile quickly faded.

"I’m full, I’m going to take a shower and go to bed." Lisa stuffed the rest of her salad into her mouth.

"Don’t wait up for me.." Lisa kissed Martin on the forehead before leaving the room.

The next day Martin decided to call in sick for work to work on his report. Lisa was at the hospital, working 8 hours a day as a nurse. While Martin was doing research online he heard a splash in the backyard

"You’re trespassing! Get off my property right now you scumbag… and… uh… trailer trash!"

Jordan slowly and cooly climbed up the pool ladder. "You’ve obviously never seen my house." Jordan shook the water out of his hair.

"Get away from here Jordan! Can’t you tell? You’re not wanted here! I don’t want you here, and Lisa doesn’t want you here! Did she even look at you during our wedding? No, because she is over you and your muscles. She wants a real man."

"Oh you think you’re a real man? Besides I didn’t come here to win Lisa back, I just came here to thank you for slapping me in front of ALL my friends." Martin back up as he saw Jordan’s muscles tighten more and more.

Before Martin had enough sense to run away Jordan had grabbed him by the shirt and threw him to the ground. Martin tried to get up but Jordan held him down with his foot. Jordan put his face inches away from Martin’s. "Take care of my girl Martin or you’ll have to deal with me."

As soon as Jordan started walking away Martin ran back towards his house. He stood in his doorway. "Yeah you better leave Jordan, before.. before I call the cops on you. I’ll get restraining orders against you for me and Lisa." Jordan didn’t even turn around.

Martin quickly called his brother, Joshua over. He always made him feel safe, even though Joshua never really comforted Martin when he got beat up in high school.

"So he beat you up Martin?"

"Well he didn’t beat me up but he threw me on my back, I could have broke my neck or something…."

"Martin stop being such a wuss, this is the real world! You have to be ready to defend yourself."

"Are you wearing your baseball practice outfit? In my house? That thing is so filthy!"

"Stop being such a girl! Where did dad go wrong with you? Yes it is my practice outfit. And don’t hate Jordan so much, he is the MVP on the baseball team now."

"Already!?! Didn’t he start a couple weeks ago?"

"Kid’s got talent what can I say. I gotta take off though, me, Jorden, and the rest of the guys are taking a club night out before I marry Tiffany."

"Oh so it’s your bachelor party? Musta lost my invite it the mail. Don’t get any stranger pregnant now Josh." Joshua grinned at Martin before leaving the room.

Lisa was home late that night. "You wouldn’t believe it Martin, there was a patient who had gotten sick after cleaning her toilet and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her until-"

‘Lisa." Martin interrupted her.

"Yes?"

"Let’s have babies."

New Beginnings : Part 1

Ok… deep breath….. I have to do this. Lisa picked the phone up and dialed the numbers to Jordan’s cell phone.

The taxi driver stopped in front a gorgeous white apartment with three stories. Julie Brooks stepped out and payed the man as he took her bags out of the trunk. Julie ran up the entrance stairs and into the house. The house was filled with a grimy smell as she searched the house for her brother.

Jordan woke to the sound of footsteps. "Jordan I can’t believe you! How could you make the apartment so messy in just a week?" He didn’t reply. "Oh so you’ve already heard… Well I was going to tell you but… well you were fooling around with Heather and I didn’t tell Lisa so you can’t be mad at me."
"Whatever sis… I gotta go to work."

There were tv dinners and trash everywhere. Luckily for the both of them Julie was born a stylish person.

Withen a few day’s Julie had the whole place filled with designer furniture and the best carpets and wallpaper. Julie secretly burned Jordan’s bandana (which he NEVER washed) and got a new hairstyle for herself. Julie also met a few of her new neighbors. Of course Julie also invited her boyfriend Ashley to err… break in her new bed.

Julie also had become quite the chef at college. She was cooking salmon and pork chops these days. I love the dining room I made for the Brooks!

Of course you did not check my blog to see what was going on with Julie, you want to see what’s going on with Lisa. Well on with the story…

Well I haven’t been on all weekend because I went to visit my sister at college. There is good news though! My first story is up and it is on my new blog at blogspot because the post system is easier for me. Well go check me out!
